It was so nice to see your faces, Seattle.

The GeekWire Awards returned as an in-person event for the first time in three years on Thursday night, and the Pacific Northwest tech community was smiling from ear to ear at the chance to reconnect.

At Showbox SoDo, techies from across the region worked out the networking kinks, raised a glass and celebrated the achievements of more than 60 finalists and honorees across 15 categories.

“You’re our guest, you’re our guest, after two years of arrest, we’re in person that is certain,” sang Robert McPherson, the Seattle Opera’s “Drunken Tenor,” as he opened the show with a rousing recollection of remote work and more.

Read about all the winners in our main awards story, and keep scrolling below for a photographic recap of the night. Check out photos from the photo booth here. And thanks again to everyone for attending in person and watching online!
